Search and register your first .st domain

Step-by-step guide to finding an available name and completing registration on Dot.st.

This guide walks you through searching for a .st domain and registering it on Dot.st.

Step 1: Sign in or create a network account on Dot.st. Verify your email address from the message we send — checkout may be blocked until verification completes.

Step 2: Go to Search from the homepage menu. Type the full domain you want, such as example.st, and submit the search.

Step 3: Read the results. Available means you can register it now. Taken means someone else holds it. Droplist or watch hints may appear for names that could expire later.

Step 4: Click Add to cart for any available name you want. You can register multiple names in one checkout session.

Step 5: Open your cart and proceed to checkout. Confirm registrant contact details — these are sent to the registry — and choose nameservers. Defaults work if you will configure DNS later.

Step 6: Pay from your Dot.st wallet or saved card. If your wallet is short, add funds on Billing before completing payment.

Step 7: After payment, watch your Domains list. New registrations appear when provisioning finishes. You will receive email confirmation with next steps.
