Transfer a domain into Dot.st

Prepare your domain at the losing registrar and submit a transfer-in request on Dot.st.

Moving a .st domain to Dot.st consolidates portfolio, billing, and DNS management in one network account.

Step 1: At your current registrar, unlock the domain for transfer and request the authorization (auth) code. Some registrars email the code or show it in their control panel.

Step 2: Confirm the registrant email on file is reachable. Registries sometimes send approval messages during transfer.

Step 3: Sign in to Dot.st and start Transfer In from Search or your account transfer area. Enter the domain name exactly as registered.

Step 4: Paste the auth code when prompted. Review registrant details — they should match policy requirements for .st.

Step 5: Pay the transfer fee from your wallet or card. Transfers typically extend registration by one year where registry rules allow.

Step 6: Wait for losing-registrar approval. Status shows as pending in your Domains list. This can take several days depending on the other registrar.

Step 7: After completion, verify nameservers and DNS on Dot.st. Update nameservers if you host DNS elsewhere.

If transfer stalls beyond a week, open dot.st/support with the domain name, losing registrar, and any emails you received.
